Wow.

I don't really know what to say.

I didn't like the ending. I think. I'm not sure. I loved this whole series up until the last twenty pages, and then I'm just not sure what I think about the conclusion. It's either extremely hopeful or the most terrible, overwhelming pit of despair I've ever read.

The Three-Body Problem by Liu Cixin

I found myself simultaneously very interested in and also bored by this book. I loved the story and everything we learn about the characters; I was really bored by all the science and kinda skimmed through those parts when they were longer than a few paragraphs.

This is one of those books that really is better unspoiled, so I won't say anything about the actual plot.

I liked it well enough that I want to read the rest of the series to see what happens, so I need to get to inter-library loaning.
