Tag help for AO3

Matt and John want each other, but John is too afraid to take the chance on a relationship. I've read all the tags and we've got "closeted character," but what's the tag that means "screws up this relationship because I'm too afraid of outing myself?" Or does closeted cover that?

No, no. You can. I'm just unsure what to actually tag that as. I don't know if closeted covers it or if there's some other commonly used term that I'm just drawing a blank on. That's all. :)

Okay, but ariadne83 suggested tags and you said you'd use them once they existed, so I was (and still am) confused about why you're not just creating them now.

I guess because I'm not certain that they are exactly what I'm looking for for this fic. If other people use them, I can check out their fics and see if they jive with what I wrote.
