Never could get into the new BSG for a variety of reasons and had little interest in trying. And yes I'm a fan of the original with all it's campy flaws. I did watch the finale which was interesting. Conversely I found what I saw of Caprica intriguing.

However if it drives you to fic writing more power to ya. I was reading some of my fic sighing sadly for I have no muse.
