you're right "ignorance isn't bliss" was creepy in way too many ways. In large part because I totally believe that Willow could be that way--there's certainly enough evidence in canon. That Buffy did what she did is twisted and yet again it is a way the character could have turned but I don't buy that she could have come up with the spell/potion herself just because there's no evidence of it in her skill set. (yes its fiction). And with the creepy is the sad, that Giles who was once Ripper would fall under that spell and imagining the destruction on the day it is all revealed.

I've got the sirius/remus one for later. I'm in the middle of a long HP story and don't want to muddy the waters.

I'm going to skip the xander/dawn story with a possible change of mind if the mood strikes me. For some weird reason i have a very hard time suspending disbelief and going with that pairing. I would rather read the canon-improbable slash. But then I would rather read xander/dawn than xander/buffy because, while that is somewhat probable given canon, I just don't like it and think its yucky. They're better as friends.
