Oh, god yes, this is why it took me six and a half years to do my bachelor's. I'd get right through the semester just fine, but when it came to the major assignment I'd have a vision of what I could do if I really invested in it... except then it was too intimidating, and I just couldn't make that much effort, and I'd never finish it, and I'd flunk the course.

I flunked a lot.

But I got a shitload of fic written through those years of procrastinating, and the fic got me further in life than the degree ever did.
