I got an account! Yay!

So I have a couple questions: subscribing to someone is putting their journal on your reading list and giving them access is letting them read your locked posts? If you don't give someone access, they can still read your public posts?

Also, how do I get rid of that openid I was using here before? I won't be using it again and several people found it and friended it. I'm afraid that could get confusing.

:)

You shouldn't get rid of the OpenID account. They may make it possible in the future for you to merge it with your actual account, plus if you delete it, you won't be able to manage any comments you made with it (including comments automatically imported from LJ when people import their journals).

But if you do delete it, please defriend anyone you friended with it first, otherwise it leaves a struck through name on their profile which cannot be removed.

I imagine you can delete it by logging into it and going into manage account or something.

And yes, subscribe = read them, and access = allow them to read locked posts. Anyone can read public posts, whether they are subscribed to you or not.

Hi! You succumbed, huh? *g*

Very good questions, and ones I'd been asking myself. Good to see the answers!
