I have been re-reading lots of SGA fic. It is delightful. I keep being told I have already left kudos here. :) I'm reading on AO3 sorting by kudos, complete, and Teen Wolf excluded, so I know it will take me awhile to get to stuff I haven't read before. Recs welcome, all genres/pairings!
The best of this bunch of books goes outside the cut.
Cat Heaven by Cynthia Rylant
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
OMG, y'all. This book.
So the art is terrible. It looks like my six year old painted all the illustrations, and I hate that kind of artwork for kids' books.
But, but, but! The text is so awesome. It's all about cat heaven and how God lets all the cats sleep on his bed and angels pet them and catnip rains down from the sky, and it is kind of awesome. Made me grin.

The Horse in Harry's Room by Syd Hoff
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Super cute book about the power of imagination.

Never Ride Your Elephant to School by Doug Johnson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This is okay. It's the kind of silly thing I usually like (the elephant messes everything up at school), but for some reason I didn't find it very engaging or funny. Kid seemed to like it alright.

The Secret Christmas by Frances Charlotte Allen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
A mouse family celebrates Christmas behind the walls of the Christopher house. Super cute illustrations and story.
