Some things which have happened today

1. I am still sick, and it blows. Every time I think I'm getting better, I'm not. I'm still coughing, and I can't exercise, and I'm just exhausted.

2. Emma texted me to come pick her up from school because she felt terrible. And immediately upon getting home, she started puking.

3. Approximately 90 seconds after she texted me, my phone went all wonky and became virtually unusable. I knew it was coming, so it's more of an annoyance than anything else, but *sigh*.

I think I'm going to say fuck it all, take a bath after dinner, and look at writing some Yuletide treats. I graded all day and read The Frenzy of Renown during finals, and I think the world won't end if I just blow shit off for tonight. *nods decisively*

Also, I remember there were multiple Don't Ask Don't Tell SGA stories where Sheppard is discovered to be gay and the military tries to oust him, but Atlantis rallies around him and throws a shit fit, but I can't find them. Anybody have a link to any of those stories? Or just favorite SGA stories in general?

I feel better; first night I didn't have to eat cough drops in the middle of the night.

In truth one has to rest to get well, in reality when one has to work they get no rest. There lies the dilemma of being sick and not getting to stay home and rest. When does Christmas Vacation start for you and will you be able to relax, stay in and rest?

If one person is sick in the house sooner or later all of you will be sick. My sister brings home all sorts of crap and we all tend to get it sooner or later. After all we are all touching the same stuff in the house.

I'm sorry that you're still feeling like crap. And now Emma! (I'm taking my antibiotics, but omg, is it possible to get a cold on top of bronchitis just because you're already run down?!!! Because I think I have one now; I'm all stuffed up. Arrgh! I just can't win, lol!)

Bummer about the phone! I like getting new phones, but not because I ~have to.

I get really anxious about tech purchases; for some reason it activates my anxiety disorder. But it's over now, and I'm fine with it. LOL

The only thing I hate about buying a new phone is how long it takes. It's such a headache. I sat there for three hours last time and I still had to do things like upload my apps, etc.

OMG, yes. I was in the store for two hours. Thank god we live in the middle of nowhere so it was not busy at all. I was the only person in the store for most of that time.
