For
corvidology: Good Omens, Aziraphale/Crowley, unguarded
"Well, you shouldn't have left them unguarded," Crowley says, pressing the single crumb left behind on the Royal Doulton plate with his fingertip and lifting it to his mouth. He doesn't look at all repentant, which Aziraphale has to admit is a rather large part of his charm.
Aziraphale says, "I suppose you're right." He dearly loves the way Crowley looks when he says that. During the long centuries of The Arrangement, Aziraphale avoided saying so on principle even when it was true, but since all that bother in Tadfield, he's grown quite fond of Crowley's flash of bemused incredulity at each admission and the sweet smirk that follows. "Come on then," Aziraphale says. "You can watch while I bake some more."

Date: 2020-05-22 01:16 am (UTC)Of course the best bit is how happy Crowley is when Aziraphale says he's right.
Thank you!

I amused myself with the notion that Aziraphale somehow knows Hyacinth Bucket when I wrote the Royal Doulton detail (maybe he's Richard's invisible strength? LOL).

Date: 2020-05-22 11:45 am (UTC)I love that show so hard.
I keep wanting someone to write the fic that explains what attracted Richard to Hyacinth in the first place. Despite her henpecking, he does seem to genuinely love her. I always wonder if she's always been like she is or if she changed/got worse at some point.

Date: 2020-05-22 09:31 pm (UTC)Richard did have a couple of conversations with Onslow about Hyacinth where he mentioned things were different before she had Sheridan.
