I would like to inform you all that Sammy's biopsy and culture

results have come in. He is indeed a mycological wonder and infected with microsporum canis. We got his meds today and gave him the first dose ten minutes ago.

Whereupon I realized that I have been infected with his fungal glory. (It's transmissable to humans but clearly not terribly contagious as we've had him since January with no one being infected. I scratched a little place on my upper back several days ago and made a tiny cut, and that's where the plaque is. *sigh*)

I have made an appointment to see the doctor tomorrow at 8:45 to get my meds.

I would like to register a complaint with the Office of Cosmic Equity. This turn of events is quite rude.

You're welcome. I can't claim that I curated only brilliant books of poetry, they made the cut if they SAID poetry on the front and they looked like chapbooks.

Well, I love what I've read so far: the one about Carson McCullers. I knew nothing about her at all, and she was fascinating. Wow.
