Usually I do a great big ole Yuletide meta post, but I don't really have a lot to say about the writing process this time. I got an awesome prompt asking me to write a story about how Moist is the only one who's been with Billy from the beginning and he hates seeing Billy so cut up after Penny and he's resolved to make it better somehow. I wrote little vignettes, as I am wont to do, and strung them together with lyrics taken from the musical. All in all, I'm pretty damn pleased with how it turned out. I discovered that there is a Moist backstory comic so I read that and used parts of that as Moist's history here (that he got his superpowers when he was really young and the fight between Billy and Captain Hammer in the park). All in all, good times.
