Help!

I've always gotten occasional complaints from people who couldn't find the comment button on my journal, but they've been coming fast and furious for a few months now so I decided to change my layout (*wails* I loved my layout *sob* but I digress). I tried to find something as close to what I had already that has the comment function at the bottom of the entry rather than on the side.

I'd like for the font to be bigger and I'd like to change the colors of, say, links. I can find where to do that but I don't know where to find a list of the colors to choose from or which font I should choose to make it bigger. Can anybody direct me please?

ETA: I figured it out!

Well, I'm too late to help with help, although in S2 you can chance the font size, too, I think, and not just the font style for most layouts, and also, the colors can be whatever you want, I think, but, and I don't mean to make you feel badly, I'm going to miss your old layout, too, even if I was another person who sometimes had trouble finding the comment button.

(Perhaps if I tried really hard I could manage another few clauses in that sentence.)

*hugs*

It's just so weird. I know people on my flist who change their layouts every couple months or so (the way I used to be about haircuts and color), but my journal has had the same layout since almost the beginning. We're talking years!

But this one is really close in terms of color to what I had before and I did it all myself instead of having someone else do it for me, so that's cool too.

Plus, all my black and white icons look really awesome on this layout.

I am in the strange position of desperately wanting to change my layout but not being able to: it's my 2007 football season layout, and the season went south about a month ago, so I don't really want to think about football anymore for a little while, but it's not over until Saturday, and possibly not even then. But I'm changing it on Sunday no matter what.

(And go you: sisters are doing it for themselves?)

What will you change it to?

I'm sorry the season's gone so sour for you. I know how much you enjoy football.

Something less football-y?

I have some ideas, but you'll just have to wait and see (so will I, actually). I really liked my other (not-Cal) layout, so I might just do that again. I want a style that has a tag list, though.

And oh, my team, they are so much worse than our worst expectations. (Also: you might have already heard, and this has additional importance since you're moving home soon, but USM just fired Jeff Bower, and the entire sports world is aghast. So far as I can tell, the Golden Eagle world is fairly relieved, because their season has turned out a lot worse than ours.)

Whoa! I had not heard that. When did that happen?

My parents are die hard Eagle fans, always get season tickets, listen to the games on the radio if they can't go and Mom commented to me over the holidays--"I'm just done with them for now, Lorraine. Tired of it." And it was like she had told me that daddy was about to carve up a newborn for our Thanksgiving feast. Never thought I'd hear her say that. So, I bet they are relieved too.

I knew about Coach O here at Ole Miss, of course. The football player I teach was telling the class about how security had to escort him out after they fired him. LOL

Sunday, maybe Monday? There wasn't a lot of warning or anything, and everyone was taken by surprise.

They really had people escort Orgeron out? That's weird (for the players, I mean: they put all their trust in this guy, and then the rug is pulled out from all of them). But then, Ole Miss immediately hired someone else's recently fired coach (Houston Nutt from Arkansas), so I guess it's all good.

In the last few years, I've discovered that off-season coaching changes in college football are the best soap opera ever.

Well, don't take it as gospel cause I didn't see it myself, but yeah, that's what Trey said. LOL

I'm surprised Mom hasn't said anything to me about Bower. She actually taught Bower's wife ages ago.
