So I'm writing this thing and I wanna ask you guys to be sure.

On SGA, unless a person has left his comm open, he has to press a button to respond to a call on his radio. Correct? With the headset units, this button is somewhere in the ear region, right? Would one term doing so "pushing the send button?" Ahahahaha. That can't be right. Can it? What would you call doing that?

This is VERY IMPORTANT. Porn cannot happen unless I discover the answers.

:)

Well, he's tied down on a gurney and if the radios do work by tapping something in the ear piece to open the comm line to respond to a call, then theoretically he could mash his ear against the side of the bed to open a channel if his hands are bound.

I would think, though, given the nature of the mission, there would be lots of times when they were, if not tied down to a gurney, at least in some kind of Situation where they needed both hands so there must be SOME provision for hands-free operation.

I know! I know!

This is why I need someone to tell me how these radios work! ARGHH

Any day now I'll start getting spam telling me not only how to make my di'ck bigger* but how to reconfigure it to operate useful household and workplace devices.

Hey, maybe Rodney is a phone phreaker and can whistle the proper frequency to open the channel.
