I cannot wait the whole long summer for this, my wonderful show, to start back up again.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No Rest For the Wicked
1. Yay, Kansas. Srsly. That Never. Gets. Old.
2. "Ain't you just bringing down the room." Bobby
3. "Slutty little Yoda." Dean
4. I love that the continuity police were on their game, that Dean has hallucinations just like the damned in "Crossroads" did.
5. Ruby, Ruby, Ruby. I think I love you more every episode. I believe her when she says she never lied to Sam, I truly do. And I wonder what Dean saw when he saw her true face. I wonder if he even saw her true face. Lilith could have popped into her and that be what got her out of the Devil's Trap. It's a little ambiguous, the timeline of her possession. I loved that she called Dean a dick, because he was totally being one in that scene. And now I wonder if we'll see her again in the next season, possibly as a new actress, as that body has clearly gone past its freshness date.
6. Anti-Christ Super Star. <3
7. Dean gakking Ruby's knife was pretty sweet.
8. The whole weak spot conversation had me tearing up, because so. freaking. true. Dean is right. They have to stop being martyrs or it's just one hellish cycle that never ends. *sobs*
9. Bobby FTW! Bobby is made entirely of awesome. I wish they'd give the man a credit. "Do I look like some ditchable prom date to you?" and "Family don't end with blood." OMG BOBBY I LOVE YOU!
10. Dean doesn't want his last day on earth to be socially awkward. Heeee.
11. Bon Jovi rocks on occasion! Hell yes and nods again to the continuity police for remembering Dean's earlier derision. But damn do I love that song. Emily put that on our SPN song wish list like a year and half ago, and I'm so glad they used it in the show. That sing along moment is one of my absolute favorites in SPN ever because it's fun and funny and poignant and I KNOW ALL THE WORDS TOO which is very important.
12. Bobby with his mad H20 skills.
13. Very nice way to get around killing a younling on primetime.
14. Sam calling Ruby a bitch in that scene sounds forced and weird which I think is on purpose because he doesn't really think that of her.
15. Sam's "What am I supposed to do?" echoing Dean's. Oh, heart. I didn't need you anyways.
16. "Keep fighting. Take care of my wheels." Dean
17. Lilith is freaking creepy here. She is horrific and monstrous and that kiss she gives Sam is so grotesque and perverse and creepy and there was a sound effect when she did it, which makes me think that kiss was supposed to do or mean something that we didn't see yet. hmmmmm. And I love that she can't hurt Sam.
18. I was kinda hoping we wouldn't see inside hell, but if we had to, this was fairly unstupid--Dean chained up and hollering for Sam to help him.
19. I knew it was gonna come down to this--Sam having to give over to his psychic abilities to save Dean. I just wonder how long Dean will be there and how broken he'll be when he gets out.
Seriously, could SPN and SGA have been any more nailbity with the cliffhangers? Jeeeeeeeeez.
*sniffles*

I thought that was because Sam got his freaky demonic super powers, if a bit late for Dean, which is what Lilith was worried about all along re Sam, right?

Date: 2008-05-19 02:06 am (UTC)I mean, even if they get Dean back in episode one, given that the chronology of the show usually accounts for hiatus, Dean will have been in hell for three months! THREE MONTHS! AAAAck.
