1. I got the most awesome package from executrix. I got books and notebooks and lip balm and a purse among other treats. Thank you so much, sweetie. Your holiday happies are winging their way to you now.

2. I have gotten Christmas cards from talitha78, crazydiamondsue, spikedluv, shannon730 leesa_perrie, sholio, and decynthus. Thank you all so much!!!!

3. I wrote two treats in addition to my Yuletide assignment! I am super stoked. :) I still would like to write one more treat but suspect it won't happen since we're leaving on Thursday, and I've got loads to do before we're ready.

4. We saw Rogue One today. Wow. Just. Wow. I have to admit that I didn't care for the prequels; to me they detract from the original trilogy rather than adding to it. But Rogue One makes that original trilogy so much more poignant and meaningful. It's definitely rocks fall, everyone dies, but in the best possible way. The movie lets us get to know and love all these characters just to watch them die, but even as we watch their suicide mission, we know that their sacrifice allows Luke, Leia and Han to be successful. And how much did I love all the appearances from characters in the original trilogy and all the references in the set design. Really, really well done.

I have totally failed with Christmas cards, I fear. Last year I managed, but I should have known with the fall that I am having. But yours is up with the (ever-diminishing number of) others, and much admired. Next year we plan to think ahead and make one up using one of M's many amazing winter photos.

I may still send them out late, once final grading is done. We'll see . . .
