1. I got the most awesomest package from executrix! So many good looking books. I can't wait to dive in. Thank you, Exec. :)

2. I am getting back in the groove of exercising the way I want to: biked for 50 minutes, ran 2 miles on the elliptical, arm weights. Feeling good.

3. I finished big project at work! I have been receiving good feedback for my work so far. No matter the ultimate fate or verdict, it's done. So, so done and happy about that.

4. I cannot believe how much conversation I got out of my Jane Eyre shitpost. Love it, love y'all. :)

OMG, yes! I was so proud for Sulu to get his own command. I cry every time when he shows up in Undiscovered Country to help Kirk save the day. *sniffle* I'd love to know more about his crew. I think a fanfic that explored what it's like to be part of a family like the Enterprise and then have to go off and make your own family would be really interesting to read.

I could go on and on about how incredible the first Undiscovered Country scene, during and surrounding the explosion of Praxis, is. In fact, I kind of have?

That's a Star Trek/Young Wizards crossover fic, one in a series I've got going. It delves quite deeply into that scene of amazingness indeed, including an awake, aware Excelsior and a crew of both wizardly and nonwizardly folks coming together to spectacular effect. Knowledge of both canons will help, but if you're only familiar with Trek, it should still be readable. If you're interested?
