I really like this. Beautiful illustrations, cycle of life and seasons. Enough text to make it an acceptable bedtime story. Reminds me of One Leaf Fell except with more text to read.

This is very silly. It should be subtitled (And Misunderstands Everything). My kindergartener found it very amusing, especially the part where Morris stuffs his face with gumdrops.

Super cute.
Kindergartener read this to us this afternoon. We were all amused at teensy Clifford's antics.

My kindergartener liked this book, so I suppose that's all that matters, but it is mindnumbingly tedious to read as an adult. Also, the poetry doesn't scan. *sobs* It scans for pages and then suddenly it just stops for no reason (and it would be so easy to fix! I actually fixed most of the scansion problems on the fly while reading it aloud!).

A+ narration of the search for Mamasaurus, gorgeous drawings, absolutely adorable wee Babysaurus. This is a favorite of mine and my kindergartener's.

Super cute. All Beth's friends offer her their her boots and then chip in for a new pair for her when none of theirs will fit. Kindergartener approved!

This is a little more complicated than the books my kindergartener has been reading lately. The W sound is highlighted throughout. Bonus points for use of the phrase, "wringing wet," which is something my late maternal grandmother used to say.
