King Enno has a thorn in his heart: he loves his knight madly, wholly, to utter distraction.
3. We finished season 2 of The Witcher. I love this show so hard. Yennefer is my favorite. I adore her character transformation. I adore her learning that she is resourceful and that she has value without magic. I adore that she chooses to do the morally right thing over and over again at peril to herself, and I adore that she can't go through with hurting Ciri.
Same damn thing with Fringilla. Adore her character arc. I love her figuring out how to take power in the shit job she's been given. Love her friendship with Francesca. I love that she wants to do what is morally right and that she sees the elves as people (and as pawns in her bid for power, let's be real).
Love Jaskier's reunion with Geralt; that was everything I wanted from that scene. Love his reunion with Yennefer. Love her genuine delight in seeing him. Love that he's the Underground Railroad. Love that he's doing the morally right thing and helping the elves while being completely emotionally devastated. I also love that he defends Yennefer to Geralt begrudingly and suggests that maybe she has changed. I do not like that mention in the finale that baldy bad mage makes of him to the bird woman. That bodes ill.
Super into Geralt's paternal instincts being all riled up. Super into Ciri learning to become badass.
I can't believe the White Flame is her dad. OMG. Josh was all, "Why isn't her dad going all Voldemort?" in her hallucination scene, and then we were all, "It's because he's still alive!!!!"
Also, I think the boss of the witch who burned her face off with the Witcher serum is Tissaia's boyfriend. What do y'all think?
Very satisfied with this season.

I never warmed to Jaskier at all, but I love Geralt so much. And my favorite part was Ciri's training.
