List five fictional people -- from television, movies, books, whatever -- that you had a crush on as a child. Then post this on your Live Journal so other people can be assured that you're as weird as they thought.

cut to the list

1. Wesley Crusher. I spent many a night dreaming about that boy and how we would roam the stars together. I loved that he was a kid, yet totally capable of piloting the Enterprise. I was so pissed at Roddenberry when he wrote Wesley off as a companion for the Traveler.

2. Steve, the hero of Rosemary Roger's Sweet Savage Love. That is one of the sexiest books of all time. It's a historical romance novel, set during the Mexican war for independence from Spain. Steve is part Mexican artistocracy, but also American; he works for the 18th century version of a black ops group. There's a lovely bit of non-com that leads in romance novel fashion to true luvv. Sigh, check it out.

3. Han Solo. I don't think I need to expand much on this one.

4. Bo Brady from Days of Our Lives. This is kinda sad, I know, but I was addicted to that soap. And Bo was all bad-assy, yet tender in secret moments. Kind of a theme with me since then, I think,

5. And finally---Ender from Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. Scott Card is an absolute fucking genius, and Ender is a brilliant creation.

Yes, yes I did. She loaned me her CD player and we rocked out to the Bare Naked Ladies and had a picnic in the park. I had forgotten all about that. I liked her. Why?

Oh. My. God.

Because I like her too! A lot. In fact, I’m kind of marrying her in June. Is this not a wild, wacky, SMALL WORLD!? ; )

I just hope our wedding goes better than Xander’s. : (

Small fucking world, Marshall. That is too weird. Hmm..we'll have to reminisce next Tuesday office time.

In other news, I have begun work on the campaign for the Post-Jargonist movement. Should have something to show for it at said office time. *snicker*

I’ve just posted a typical “boring historical piece” on my LJ about the Post-Jargonist movement. Let the revolution begin!

Bo Brady! That's not sad at all, lol. He was so coooool! I loved the scenes of him on his motorcycle, especially when he stole Hope from the church, lol. *sigh* I don't watch it anymore, but Bo and Hope. Which makes me think of Steve (Patch) and Kayla. Ah, the memories.

If there had been six places, Patch would so have been on it.

God the long-haired dirty pirate look was so hot. Maybe that's why I'm fixated on post-Chosen Xander right now?

I haven't seen it in about six years; Marlena being possessed by a demon kinda did it for me.
