lunabee34I promise I will now stop making up for months of not posting regularly. Well, after I make a post talking about my own Remix. And post the last batch of Remix recs. LOL
Trek Reboot
The Light of the Moon (The Under the Sun Remix) by echoinautumn
Bones and Kirk gen; PG-13
In this magical AU, Bones realizes he's being possessed by the ghost of one Jim Kirk. This is really fun and a universe I'd love to spend a lot of time in.
Freefall (the reclaiming lives remix) by isabeau
Kirk/Sulu; Adult
I really like this look at how traumatized they all must be in the immediate aftermath of the events of Trek Reboot--Sulu with his dreams of falling and the pressure Kirk feels as the youngest captain of the youngest crew in the fleet. In the midst of all that pressure, Kirk and Sulu have each other.
Songs for a Dying Planet by chaletian
Gen; PG
This is such a cleverly told story, the grim way that the fate of the Enterprise is revealed through logs long after its demise. This story is creepy and sad and I won't give away the ending which is so deliciously awful.

Amanda and Uhura have a quiet moment of friendship and understanding. Very poignant.
Surely To Their Credit (The Five-by-Five Friendship Remix) by musesfool
Uhura & Kirk friendship; PG
Uhura slowly comes to respect Kirk and regard him as friend. I really enjoyed their burgeoning friendship.

Five Times Dean Waited (The Sam-Comes-Through Remix) by Laura
Gen; PG
Sam walks away, but Sam always comes back. I love this look at the platonic love and friendship between the brothers.
Five, Six, Grab Your Crucifix by clex_monkie89
Ava-centric gen; Adult for violence
This is the remix written for me, and I am so pleased that clex_monkie89 chose to remix one of my stories about a female character. I love the ladies of SPN, and this extended look at Ava's tenure as the heavyweight champion of the psychic kids is really interesting. <3
Storm Chaser (The Sex, Lies and Videotape Remix) by nwhepcat
Dean/Cassie, Dean/OMC, Sam/Dean, Sam/OMC; Adult
There is so much to love about this story--from Dean accidentally discovering Sam is a porn star to Dean's whirlwind romance with Cassie to the absolutely delightful narrative voice. Excellent, excellent read.
Prophet (Twelve Steps Mix)
Chuck-centric gen; PG-13; heed warnings in tags
I love this look at Chuck--how being a prophet screws up his life and also gives him the opportunity to change the world he lives in. I also really like the narrative structure here.
