I'm stopping in at the library before I have to teach. I heard about the bombings on the way to work. I hope everyone is okay!!!

I also think sweet_exile might be vacationing in London, but I'm not sure. This is such a horrible thing. I feel so badly for everyone affected by it.

ETAAm IMing with Suki as I post and Ame says Kitty is AOK too. Thank god.

I've heard from both Suki and Kitty and they're both okay. Suki got home from her trip yesterday but Kitty was at work and had taken the train in. With all the transportation problems it took her a long time to get home but she's okay too. Just so you know.

Oh thank you so much, Ame. I was so worried this morning. All I heard was one little snatch on the radio and then I had to go in and teach. I had to wait for hours before I could even find out exactly what had happened. I just wanted to cry because I couldn't stand it if something had happened to one of my friends. You know? And then all I can think is that for somebody, it's not okay. Their friends and family are hurt or dead.

I know what you mean, I'm a freaking mess. Mom was up sick all night for the third night in a row and I saw the news at 5am and have been up ever since. Or was it 7? I don't know, I just know that I've had like, three hours sleep and I'm all tired now that I know I don't have to worry about Kitty.

Thank goodness. It is so good to hear from you. I was very worried about you; logically, I knew you were probably fine, but still. (Over IMs, Suki assured me that a tourist probably wouldn't have been on the subway at that time of day.)

Again, I'm so glad you're fine and back in the lj fold.
