*sniff sniff sniffle*
You know, I think I'm fairly satisfied. We've got Pam and Eric ruling the world, Sarah "Nume" Newland going bonkers in the dungeon of Fangtasia, Hoyt and Jessica reunited, and both Sookie and Jason in stable relationships with kiddos.
At first, I found the reintroduction of Hoyt a little jarring, and I wasn't sure I wanted the show to go there. But I ended up loving that part of it. Jessica/Hoyt was pretty much the perfect ship for me, and it really did make me happy for them to end up together and for Hoyt and Jason to be friends again, even if getting there was waaaaay contrived.
I kept expecting Sookie to zap Bill with her ball of light and turn him human. That would have been the fairy tale. But Bon Temps isn't a fairy tale. :(
I didn't like Bill to start with, but he's grown on me over the course of all these seasons, so much so that I was sad to see him die.
These last two episodes hit pretty much all my emotional and narrative kinks for this show.
It's been a spectacular ride, y'all.
Thoughts?
