Monday's list
Aug. 4th, 2014 09:50 am1. If I get another graduation or wedding invitation addressed to "Mr. and Mrs. Josh JoshLastName," I think I will scream. It's not even the Dr. thing. I don't expect Josh's cousins on his mom's side, for example, to know I was even pursuing a Ph.D., much less that I finished it. And I find most people who publicly insist that everyone call them Dr. to be obnoxious at best. No, it's that I kept my last name when I married Josh, it was a huge scandal on both sides of the family for some reason, and *everybody* (even the cousins twice removed on both sides) knows I didn't change my name. If you would like me to send you twenty bucks for graduation (even though I have no idea what you look like), please address your envelope correctly!
2. I am having a great deal of fondness for this final season of True Blood. ( SPOILERS )
3. I hope we can go see GotG on Wednesday. There's a 12:00 showing, so we could all go while Fiona is in daycare!

True Blood is so fantastic this season. We're talking crazy!good. I have many many theories about where the show is going, but I have grown too weary to type them out. :) Anybody interested in talking vampires?
And now to the dumbassery: I totally dropped my laptop last night. It appears to have survived the plunge with some cosmetic damage. :( I am concerned that the screen part is not as securely attached to the bottom part as before and fully expect it to detach at some point in the future. *But* as this was a cheapie laptop, replacing it shall not be overly taxing on the finances, and should it break apart like a fortune cookie, whatever's on the hard drive (which is next to nothing really) can still be salvaged. Therefore, I shall cease the pity party forthwith and focus instead on Alcide's abs and Tara's ta-tas.

1. True Blood is rocking this season. I do not at all watch for the Sookie, but drunk!Sook I could watch all the live long day. I am adoring the Bill/Eric bromance and Evil!Detective Stabler. Who else is watching? Thoughts?
