2. I am getting back in the groove of exercising the way I want to: biked for 50 minutes, ran 2 miles on the elliptical, arm weights. Feeling good.

3. I finished big project at work! I have been receiving good feedback for my work so far. No matter the ultimate fate or verdict, it's done. So, so done and happy about that.

4. I cannot believe how much conversation I got out of my Jane Eyre shitpost. Love it, love y'all. :)

I saw a picture of Nichelle Nichols the other day, and she is looking ancient. :( Pretty soon all the bridge crew will be gone.

Shatner still looks OK but he's a jerk! The last time I saw the guy that played Chekov he was on Babylon 5. The guy that played Sulu still looks OK too. They were all in there 30's when they played these parts.

Yeah, it was really upsetting to me when I realized that Shatner is a jerk. I love the fiction of all the actors on my fave shows, especially ensemble ones, also being friends in real life. That's one of the reasons I don't delve too deeply into actor lives; I really don't want to find anything out about them that detracts from their performances for me.

I've spent several years aware that the cast of TNG carefully markets an image of them all being best buds. Which they might well be anyway, but it's definitely an image they're invested in presenting.

I saw him in person at a convention. That is how I came to find he was a jerk not to mention that once upon a time he told his fan base to "Get a Life". To be that ungrateful to the people that got you where you are today really sucks wide!

I actually found the SNL skit to be pretty funny, but it becomes less funny when you realize he actually means it. I think the fact that pretty much all his costars think he's a ding ding means the fire is real.

I'm sorry you had to witness the tooky behavior in person. :(

Yeah, its said he was arrogant so the cast were friends with him but not the kind of friends that the others were to each other.

Complete lack of self awareness there, because he's objectively not the best actor on that set.

Yeah. I have grown to love his mannered approach, but it's way over the top a lot of the time. I think he's much better in the movies than in the series.
