Layout question
May. 20th, 2011 09:01 pmLast week, my journal stopped displaying some content, and when I filled out a support request, lj's suggestion was to temporarily change layouts until whatever was going on with that layout got fixed.
So I changed back to my original layout (which, honestly, is the one I have loved the best even though I know some people don't like it because the comment button is under the poster's user icon rather than at the bottom of the page where it belongs) and decided I'd like to stay with it. However, I cannot figure out how to change the colors for the links. This is something I've had no trouble doing in the past (with this layout even!).
decynthus has been helping me, and she said:
Did you maybe go to the "Text" link that's listed beneath "Style" in the left margin? That one goes to options to do with naming your journal. Be sure you go to "Style", then pick "Colors" and click "Text" from that list. There are three boxes for the hexadecimal codes: "link color", "visited link color" and "active link color". I don't know if that will change the color for cut text tags, though. Just try it out, I s'pose.
These boxes just do not exist for Unearthed when I go to customize my journal layout. I click on color and on text and all I get is one box that says default color for page.
I am so frustrated, y'all, because I DESPISE!!!!!!! the blue links, and I cannot figure out how to make them go away despite the lovely
decynthus's help.
I will kind of do anything requested of me by the person who can help me fix this.

Help me, Obi Wan
May. 13th, 2011 11:54 pmOkay, so lj's latest updates or whatever were playing merry havoc with my layout so I switched it to one I used before, but I can't figure out how to change the color of the links/cut text text. When I go to the colors part of customize, I see nothing labeled as such and also no blue and pink boxes.
I will write a made to order ficlet of at least 500 words to anyone who can help me figure out how to change those font colors. I'd like the unclicked upon text to be a pink like in the middle square of the first vertical column and the clicked upon text to be a pink like the bottom square in the first vertical column. It looks like the clicked upon links are pretty much the color I want them, it's just the unclicked on ones that are wrong. The blue is killing me, y'all.

Help with coding
Jan. 7th, 2010 05:51 pmI wrote this fic in Buffy that I have uploaded to AO3 and someone asked me to add it to a collection, which yay, of course, but the fic is written in the form of an outline and since I don't know the html for "tab" or even just "space" it doesn't look like an outline. It's just right justified the whole way down. I'd like to fix it. Anybody can tell me how?
So, if I had something to hide and link I would say--go here to this place Roomies.
Here is what I want to hide.
( Woes of a Luddite )
Cherry on top to work

So if I was writing a fic and I wanted you to see the last chapter but also have access to the previous ones I would go
( Roomies: Part Seven )
